Dr. Edward S. Orris

A graduate of Tufts University. He received his medical degree from the State University of New York Downstate Medical School. He completed his internal medicine internship and residency at Tufts New England Medical Center Hospital and the Boston Veterans Administration Hospital. He completed his gastroenterology fellowship at New England Medical Center Tufts University. Dr. Orris has been Chief of the Medical Staff at St. Peter’s Hospital and is a former Chief of Gastroenterology. He has been recognized as Physician of the Year by the Capital District Chapter of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation and a member for many years of their Scientific Advisory Board. Dr. Orris has a special interest in therapeutic endoscopy, pancreaticobiliary disease and integrating new technology into the practice of gastroenterology.
